1 · Add a script

In the library, tap Add script. You can paste the narration, upload one or more .docx files (select several for a bulk import), or import straight from Google Drive. Give it a title and client, and drop it in a folder to keep things tidy.

2 · Format for the talent

Your stored text stays clean — this styling is applied only on screen, so it works on scripts you already have:

• **bold** — shows in amber, for emphasis
• ALL-CAPS WORDS — amber emphasis, without the bold weight
• [bracketed notes] — grey italic, so talent knows not to read them aloud

3 · Roll

Tap Open teleprompter, then pick this device's role:

• Operator — normal text, full controls
• Talent — mirrored for a prompter rig, display-only

Tap Slate first if you want to shoot a pre-roll slate before the read.

4 · Two devices over Wi-Fi

Turn on Sync at the setup screen, on both devices, signed into the same account. One drives, the other follows. A badge appears at the top of the read: tap it to resync if they drift, press and hold to stop syncing.

5 · While you're reading

Tap anywhere on the script to show or hide the control bar. Drag the text to scrub.

• Speed / Size / Spacing — the three LED sliders
• Script — switch scripts by folder, mid-read
• Slate — open the pre-roll slate
• Hide stow the bar · Guide reading line · Minimal strips the labels
• Flip mirrors the text · Top jumps back to the start

6 · Marks and pickup notes

• Mark drops a marker at the reading line
• Tap a mark on screen to add or edit its note
• Prev / Next jump between marks
• Press and hold Mark to clear them all

Back in the library, a script with marks shows a ✱ marks badge — open it to review them and Export PDF as a pickup list.

7 · Keyboard and remotes

On the operator device (a Bluetooth remote that sends these keys works too):

• Space — play / pause
• ↑ / ↓ — faster / slower
• ← / → — nudge the script back / forward
• F — flip the text

8 · The slate

A pre-roll slate with a live timecode readout. It runs on the device clock by default — that's the usual case. To read real LTC from a Tentacle, connect it through a class-compliant USB-C audio interface with a line input, then pick that input in the slate's settings.

Set Roll, Scene and Take, plus optional Director, DOP, Date and Note. The gear icon holds fps, drop-frame and the LED colour. Action → hands off into the prompter.

9 · Your account

• Set a password — adds an email + password login to a Google account, so you can sign in on set without the Google redirect
• Appearance — light or dark; the prompter and slate stay dark either way
• Your scripts are private to your account and sync to every device you sign in on
